6th Grade Promotion
Wednesday, June 8th
Ceremony should last about one hour and is in the Quad area outside the library.
Afterwards, you may take your student with you and they are not required to attend school on Thursday, June 9th.
Dress Code: This is an important event for our students. Shorts and t-shirts are not allowed. Girls should wear nice dresses or skirts and blouses. Long, formal gowns, strapless clothing and high heels are not appropriate. Boys should wear long pants/slacks and a tuck-in shirt or polo style shirt.
If you choose to bring balloons, please have the courtesy to stay near the back or sides so as not to block the view of others. Air horns are not appropriate at a dignified celebration for our students.
We appreciate the support and commitment of our parents and look forward to seeing all our families on this special day!
Extra parking will be available in the lot at Garfield and Shelby. If you park on neighboring streets you will not be ticketed for blocking the street sweeper.
"Our formula for success is simple, since 1992 KRCB's beautification projects have provided opportunities for volunteers to receive hands-on stewardship with: litter prevention, graffiti eradication, planting roses along Victoria Ave., tree planting in local parks and community greening projects. Each month the KRCB staff partners with the City of Riverside's Public Works Department and organizes volunteers for multiple beautification projects in one of the seven council wards within the City of Riverside"
