Perfect Attendance
attendance tag
Well done Pachappa Tigers!
March was a GREAT month for perfect attendance and no tardies.
Here is a look at April's
    Perfect Attendance Tag.
See how many you can collect!

All students entering 7th grade in August are required by law to have proof of a whooping cough booster (‘Tdap’) shot in order to attend classes.  Your child will be excluded from attendance if you do not meet this requirement.  Students who are currently in 6th grade should fulfill this requirement now and bring the shot record to the school office.

reminder ribbon
Reminder about early pick-up.
California Ed Code requires that if a child is to be picked up early, the parent must do so. In the past we have allowed anyone on the emergency card to act on your behalf.
This has changed.
A parent must be the one picking up the student or there must be a note with the date and time provided to the school with the person picking up the child. Simply put, if someone other than the parent is picking up a student, they must have a written note signed by the parent with the time and date on it.
Students checked out early without a verified medical appointment will be marked as unexcused early release. This will count against the student's attendance. If you have any questions, please call our office.

The district’s goal is to not only help parents interpret the new scoring system and test results, but also to easily explain and give some background on why their kids are taking the Smarter Balanced assessment, and how it’s related to the world of Common Core.
