  • Rivera awarded 2013 California Business for Education Excellence Honor Roll School

    Five RUSD schools recognized as 2013 California Business for Education Excellence Honor Roll Schools California Business for Education Excellence has named John F. Kennedy, Lake Mathews, and Tomas Rivera Elementary Schools and Amelia Earhart and Frank A. Miller Middle Schools as 2013 California Business for Education Honor Roll Schools. This recognition distinguishes these schools as being among 2,099 high-performing schools in California. The organization noted that “after an extensive analysis of student achievement data for every public school in California, these schools stood well above the rest in raising their students to grade level proficiency and beyond.”
