Saturday, February 25th at 5:00 pm in the FAMMS gym. Family Game Night featuring Bingo. Prizes include gift baskets from local vendors. Sponsored by PTSA – Concessions by AVID. $20 presales tickets (10 Bingo cards) or $25 at the door. Seating is limited – only paid players will be allowed in the gym due to space.
Just a friendly reminder that the final day for your student to turn in their 10 Community Service hours is Thursday, March 1st. All Miller Middle School students are required through their history class to complete 10 hours of community service per trimester. The completion of these hours will represent 10% of the student’s History grade. All 10 hours must be completed to receive any credit.
The Scholastic Book Fair sponsored by the PTSA will be in the FAMMS library from March 5 - 9. It will be open before school, after school, and during lunch. Students will be able to preview the book fair throught their ELA class. Parents are welcome to come during the open hours of the book fair. Please come and support our school, all of the profits will go to the library to purchase books for our students. Thank you for your support!
Congratulations to the FAMMS Math Counts Team coached by Mrs. Jones. Our team placed 3rd in the County competition and will now go on to compete at the CA State Competition. Way to go and congratulations to all!

FAMMS has been selected for a Models of Academic Excellence Schools Award for our 7th Period Clubs Program. There were 24 schools in Riverside County selected to receive this distinguished honor. This will allow parents to log in to Haiku LMS and see the information that their student’s teacher is providing, including but not limited to class events, requests, assignments, homework, and student resources. As a parent of an RUSD student you are now able to view information regarding your student’s progress and status, parents will be able to view information from our secure school database using the RUSD Parent Portal. Please keep in mind that the grade information is kept up to date by the classroom teachers and may not be updated on a daily basis. Don’t forget that every Tuesday is a Spirit Day at Frank Augustus Miller Middle School. With our focus on exposing ALL students to College and their academic life/plans after High School we have made Tuesday a day where the students can either wear their favorite College Team/University Wear OR our school colors of turquoise and yellow.
