Riverside Unified School District is embarking on a process to update its Long Range Facilities Master Plan. This is a task that is undertaken about every 15 years. The process is extensive and will consume the entire Fall Semester of the 2015-2016 school year. The Facilities Master Plan is a strategic planning document whose intent is to set a road map for future facilities projects and improvements at every site in the District. Because the Master Plan will contemplate projects at your school site, your help is needed! We are looking for a group of forward thinking, creative individuals who can meet once or twice with a team of Architects and give input on current and future needs at our campus to support and enhance the instructional program and facilities. Example projects may include new facilities, renovations of existing buildings, parking/playground upgrades, or even furniture and technology. The meetings will be held in September, October and/or November with each session lasting no more than 90 minutes. We encourage and ask you to invest in providing input to the Long Range Planning at our site. Please consider participating in the upcoming meeting scheduled for Thursday, November 5th at 6:30 p.m. in the Arlington High School library.
