On Saturday, January 21, 2015, Riverside Poly's Army JROTC Colorguard competed at the Benevolent and Protective order of Elks Colorguard competition at Ramona High School hosted by the Marine Corps JROTC. The competition tested on-point drill movements, synchronized coordination and strict military bearing. The Poly Bear Battalion Veteran team took home 2nd place for best overall inspection. Congratulations to Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Heredia, Cadet Major Matthew Doan, Cadet Master Sergeant Timothy Johnson and Commander Cadet First Lieutenant Anicia Leyva.
We are happy to announce that Poly will hold after school tutoring beginning on Monday September 22nd. Students who need assistance with their coursework may go to room 822 after school from 3-430 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. No sign up is required. All subject areas.
State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Torlakson visited Poly High School Thursday as part of an Inland Southern California tour of schools.
