The brand-new RUSD Electronic Data Management System, or EDMS department, is charged with converting hundreds of files full of paper documents found at various locations across the district with a safe, secure and environmentally-sound electronic document database that can be accessed by authorized district personnel. This new system will create a more efficient workflow that brings us into the 21st Century. Electronically stored data also will help us to preserve documents that could become damaged over time. And, by having all of the district’s essential documents in one location, authorized staff will be able to more easily access critical information in a more timely manner. Also within our department is the RUSD Records Department, where student record information can be obtained.
