FOUR EASY STEPS Certificated Application Packet
Step 1: Complete a Certificated Application for Employment
Applications may be obtained at the Riverside Unified School District Human Resources office located at 3380 Fourteenth Street Riverside, California; or may be downloaded as an Acrobat PDF file. Include the following documents with the application:
- Letter of Interest
- Personal Résumé
- Three letters of recommendation
- Official Transcripts preferred (copy accepted for application process, however official will be required at time of hire)
- Copy of CBEST
- Copy of Credential or letter verifying Credential Status
- Copy of CSET or Subject Matter Exam Waiver Letter
Step 2: Deliver Completed Application Packet to:

Step 3: Interview Process
Applications for Elementary, Secondary and Special Education will be reviewed by a Human Resources Administrator and suitable candidates will be invited for an interview by telephone or mail.
Please Note: Applications are reviewed to determine the most suitable candidates for current and anticipated vacancies. Applicants will be selected for an interview only after the completed application, all supporting documents and credential status have been reviewed.
After a conditional offer of employment, applicants will be required to bear the cost of all pre-employment processing which includes physical examinations (first time California employee), drug/alcohol screening, TB test and fingerprinting.
A health examination is required for initial employment in California.
Step 4: Offer of Employment A Human Resources Administrator will contact candidates with an employment offer.
