We are no longer accepting applications for the 2011-2012 SES Tutoring program.
 
We are currently at capacity with students placed in the program and have a substantial waiting list. 
 
 
 
Please look for information for next year's program (2012-2013) on this website during the summer of 2012.  Brochures and applications will be mailed out to eligible students by September of 2012.  Information about the program will also be available in the main offices of eligible school at the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year.

Your child may qualify for FREE TUTORING if you answer yes to both of the following statements:
 
þ My child qualifies to receive free or reduced-price lunch
 
AND
 
þ My child attends one of the following Title I schools*:

Jackson Elementary
Central Middle
Beatty ElementaryJefferson ElementaryChemawa Middle

If the number of eligible students who apply for the SES program exceeds the financial resources available, priority will be based on academic need as determined by CST scores, District Benchmark scores, and/or grades. 
 


 

 
 
 If you would like to come and meet our approved Tutoring Providers,
please plan on attending one of our upcoming Provider Fairs:
 
  
Tuesday, September 27th from 5 to 7 PM at
Sierra Middle School, 4950 Central Avenue
 
OR
 
Thursday, September 29th from 5 to 7 PM at
Longfellow Elementary School, 3610 Eucalyptus Avenue

Applications are due by October 7, 2011.  If, after that date, there are still funds available for the program, additional applications will be accepted until December 2, 2011.
