Below are the new rules pertaining to flyer distribution and promotional product giveaways in the schools and at events organized by the District. (reference Board Policy 1325 and 7310)
No flyer, promotion product, certificate for free items, or discount coupons can be distributed to any Student or at any District eventunless prior approval is made by Publications/Strategic Communications
We accept flyers from non-profitorganizations that offer programs and services that benefit students and theirfamilies. No for-profit advertising is allowed on campuses, with the exceptionof those businesses that participate in the Sponsorship Program
§ All flyers must have contact information clearly printed on them.
§ ALL flyers are to be dropped off at Publicationsat least 4 days prior to distribution.
§ No more than 3 Non Profit flyers (501c3) will be sent to school sites per week. A mastercalendar of Distribution will be kept at Publications.
§ Non profit flyers are charged $3 per school for distribution if they are counted out by school and class.
§ Non profit flyers are charged $10 per school for distribution if they are counted out by school only.
§ Non profit flyers are charged $12 per school for distribution if they are not counted out at all.
§ Non profit organizations cannot pass out flyers at any District Event unless they are part of the sponsorship program.
§ If flyers are printed at Publications then thereis no additional charge for counting and distribution.
§ For profit companies cannot pass out any flyersat any School Site or District Event unless they are part of the Sponsorship program.
§ All promotional products need to be approved by Publications/StrategicCommunications. (Note! Before we send these we will check with the Principal)
