Poly High School's EMMA CUNNINGHAM wins First Place in California State National History Day for her paper entitled “The Brown Decision: Educational Reforms, Watershed Revolution, Reactionary Backlash”

Poly's Emma Cunningham is one of three RUSD students whose History Day projects/papers will go on to the National History Day competition at the University of Maryland in June! Congratulations Emma!

Riverside County Academic Awards

Each county high school's three top scholars were recognized recently at the Riverside County Academic Awards Dinner. From left, Poly's Anthony Anderson, Jeffrey Guo, and Aaron Chronister represented our school. Jeffrey Guo also was recognized as one of Riverside County's top ten scholars and was selected to the All-County Academic Team. Congratulations to these phenomenal students!

Mock Trial State Competition

The Poly Mock Trial team did a great job at the state contest last weekend, winning three out of four rounds. Poly senior Alex Hackworth received the Honorable J. Skelly award for Outstanding Constitutional Advocacy (best Pre-trial attorney in the state of California).

Homecoming DVD

The Poly H.S. Video Crew presents "Homecoming 2011-12" on DVD for $10 a copy. You can order the DVD from the bookkeeper. Please make checks payable to "Poly H.S. Video Crew." The proceeds of the Homecoming DVD will help purchase new equipment for Poly's Video Production courses.
