Mrs. Abby Sindaha (pronounced with the emphasis on DA) is our Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)! An SLP evaluates and treats students who have atypical speech and language usage. Treatment can be in the areas of how the sounds are produced, how vocabulary and grammar are used, and stuttering- just to name a few!
Speech services are offered to students who have not adequately acquired speech/language skills in any language. This is different than English Language Development (ELD) services where students get support while learning English but are able to speak their native language proficiently.
Mrs. Kelsey Gouveia (pronounced “Go-VAY-uh”) is our fabulous Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)! She assists in providing speech and language therapy at Liberty on Mondays and Tuesdays.
