Overview of Department
Themission of the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) programis to develop citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation andcommunity. The objectives of AFJROTC areto educate and train high school cadetsin citizenship, promote community service, instill responsibility, character,and self-discipline, and provide instruction in air and space fundamentals.
The AFJROTC program is grounded inthe Air Force core values of integrity first, service before self, andexcellence in all we do. The curriculum emphasizes the Air Force heritage andtraditions, the development of flight, applied flight sciences, militaryaerospace policies, and space exploration.
