RUSD Holds Foster Youth Event

RUSD’s Pupil Services Homeless and Foster Education Department hosted its first annual Gaining Purpose and Stability Foster Youth event at Central Middle School on Saturday, June 11, 2016.  The event featured 20 vendor exhibits to offer resources and valuable information, as well as keynote speaker, The Honorable Judge Otis Sterling, Riverside County Superior Court Judge – Indio. Various community and business leaders participated in panel discussions, and the generous community partners hosted giveaways for the youth. RUSD would like to thank the volunteers that made this event possible, as well as the Gaining Purpose and Stability Committee:
