Parent Digital Information Meetings

Earhart will be hosting two parent nights where we will be focusing on technology as we prepare to start the year as a Digital Middle School.  We will be discussing various topics such as what a digital classroom will look like, digital devise options and what students need to bring to school, how students will access their textbooks from home, RUSD acceptable usage polices and internet security. We will be offering instructions and information on new types of classroom instruction as well as several programs that both students and parents will be using during the year including Haiku, Dashboard, Flipped Classrooms, Aeries Parent Portal, Holt Resources and the Khan Academy.  Although not the focus of the meeting, we will also cover general information about the start of school as needed.  These meetings are intended for parents; students will be receiving this information in each of their classes in the opening weeks of school.  Both trainings will be identical so choose the one that best works for you.  The meetings will be on Wednesday, August 15 and Tuesday August 21 from 6:00-7:00 in the Multi-Purpose Room located to the right of the office.
